The team of three couples is back from the field with a report of what God is doing in Uganda! After Three days of marriage enrichment seminars covering topics ranging from keeping and preparing yourself for marriage, to the needs of husbands and wives, and finances and marriage, a wedding ceremony was performed where five couples were united in marriage.

Wedding Day

Five couples prepare to exchange wedding vows

The wedding was a highlight of the mission and added an exclamation point to the message being delivered- the importance of the covenant between a husband and wife as well as between God and His people. Each morning at 10:00 a.m. after a short drive to Restoration Assembly Church at Nakulabye the day began with breakout sessions-each being taught by one of our missionary couples.

Conference attendees came from districts as far away as Masaka, Simbabule, and Mityana to learn Biblical principles of marriage and leadership training. Upon arrival at the Church the team was greeted by neighborhood children.

Every lesson and every sermon seemed to have been just what was needed according to the response. There were testimonies of lives changed and marriages strengthened. Husbands and wives committed to work on their relationships.
